About TechSol

We started because the workaround was worse than the problem.

Across Indian workshops, workers still clean their hands with petrol, kerosene and diesel. It works. It also strips the skin, causes dermatitis, and sits in an open tray next to a welding bay. We thought that deserved a better answer than an imported bottle nobody could afford.

Our Story

The gap we walked into

Walk into any auto workshop, machine shop or mining yard in India and you will find the same scene at the end of a shift: a drum of solvent, a rag, and a queue of men scrubbing their hands raw. Ask why, and the answer is always practical. Soap doesn't touch engine grease. The imported hand cleaner costs more per litre than the workshop makes per job.

So the workaround wins — and the cost shows up somewhere else. In cracked hands. In dermatitis that keeps a skilled fitter off the floor for a week. In a fire risk that nobody has written down.

TechSol Chemicals was formed to close that gap properly: a product that cleans as fast as solvent, treats skin as something worth protecting, and costs what an Indian plant can actually put in a monthly consumables budget.

Why we build the chemistry ourselves

The straightforward route would have been to source a generic formula from a contract manufacturer, put a label on it, and sell. We chose not to, for one reason: if you don't own the formulation, you can't fix it.

Our flagship product went through more than thirty documented variants. Most of those variants failed — the solvent separated after two weeks, the gel bled water in the drum, the texture came out like dough instead of cream. Each failure taught us something specific about the physics, and each fix is now something a competitor buying an off-the-shelf base simply does not have.

Our operating belief: in specialty chemicals, the brand is the marketing and the formulation is the moat. We invest accordingly.

How we work

We run as a brand-led group rather than a product catalogue. Each brand owns one category, carries its own development programme, and has to clear the same internal gate before it ships — benchmarked against the best product in the world for that job, then re-engineered for Indian cost, climate and supply chains.

We would rather ship three products we can defend than thirty we cannot.

What Drives Us

Mission, vision and the things we won't trade

🎯

Our Mission

To make world-class industrial chemistry affordable on the Indian factory floor — so that no worker has to choose between getting clean and keeping their skin.

🔮

Our Vision

To become the specialty chemicals group that Indian industry names first for occupational cleaning and skin protection — on formulation quality, not on price alone.

🧶

Evidence over adjectives

Every claim maps to a test we can produce on request. We do not use "all natural" or any language we cannot defend.

👥

The worker is the customer

Procurement signs the order, but the person washing their hands decides whether the product gets used. We design for them.

🔧

Fix causes, not symptoms

When a formulation fails we find the physics behind it. Masking a problem with a thickener is not a solution.

🇮🇳

Built for India, not adapted

Indian heat, humidity, water hardness and supply chains are part of the original specification, never a later adjustment.

Journey

How we got here

A short company, honestly told.

Phase One

Problem validation on the floor

Time spent inside automobile workshops and ancillary units documenting how hands actually get cleaned, what it costs in skin damage and downtime, and why existing products were not being bought.

Phase Two

Benchmark and teardown

The leading international heavy-duty hand cleaner was sourced, analysed and set as the performance reference. Target specification defined on clean time, skin safety, texture and landed cost.

Phase Three

Thirty-plus formulation variants

Iterative development through the hard problems — solvent phase separation, texture breakdown in storage, aeration during processing, and cold-temperature stability.

Now

GRIPMAX to market, portfolio expanding

Flagship formulation locked and moving through its validation gate, with industrial degreasers and workplace skin care entering development as the second and third brands in the group.

Next

Scale, certification and distribution depth

Formal quality certification, expanded manufacturing capacity, and a distribution network sized to serve industrial clusters directly across western and southern India.

Leadership

Founder-led, lab-first

TechSol is run by its founding team, working directly on formulation, quality and customer development rather than through layers.

TS

Founder & Managing Director

Sets product direction and leads formulation strategy, customer development and the benchmark-and-beat standard the group works to.

🧪

Formulation & R&D

Owns bench development, variant documentation and the stability and compatibility programme behind every release.

📦

Operations & Supply

Runs batch manufacturing, packaging, quality release and the logistics network that gets product to plant store rooms.
